Win a smart home technology starter kit courtesy of LightwaveRF and Megaman

Megaman/LightwaveRF have launched a series of 26 videos via Megaman’s YouTube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/Megamanukltd/videos to offer precise details of how the home automation system works with easy to understand, step by step installation guides for each of the LightwaveRF components.

LightwaveRF is a wireless smart home system for the control of lighting, power and heating devices. The range can be retro-fitted with no extra wiring required and controlled over an internet connection from a smartphone, tablet or from a hand held remote control, offering simple control from the home, office, or indeed anywhere in the world.

The videos are divided into two sections:

a) consumer which explains the benefits of the system and the features, and

b) technical ‘how to install’ guides.

The technical videos address any potential questions and provide in-depth information on how to install each of the components such ie: dimmers, magnetic switch, mood controllers, PIR, sockets, wire free switching and inline relays.

The collaboration between Megaman and LightwaveRF means that the ‘smart’ home is now within everyone’s reach. By using the retrofit technology, a house can be made more cost and energy efficient one room at a time, starting with just one socket and incorporating the system into every room over a period of time.
