W F Senate Supplier of the Year Awards is a success

The Supplier of the Year Awards, held in March by W F Senate, were a great success with five winners chosen from three categories. Eaton won the overall award with Schneider Electric and JCC following closely behind.

Launched in 2007, the awards are designed to thank suppliers for their continuous efforts throughout the previous year. Voted for by company directors, branch managers and head office staff at WF Senate, suppliers were scored in a range of areas, including product quality, sales support and delivery performance.

Held at the Country House Hotel, Coombe Abbey in Coventry, the awards were presented by guest speaker, Mark Gallagher, who has been at the forefront of the Formula One motor racing industry for more than 30 years.

In the Best Innovative Product Award, Collingwood Lighting beat off stiff competition with its Wirefield EYE-WI. This lighting control offers an affordable and easy to use alternative to complicated electrical installations. With no limit to the quantity of luminaires that can be controlled in the system, each wireless luminaire is programmed to operate using simple drag and drop menus on the EYE-WI lighting control.

Collingwood Lighting was also presented with an overall Special Recognition Award.

Nathan Ennis, Commercial Director at WF Senate, was very pleased with the event and congratulates all finalists.
