The Worshipful Company of Lightmongers becomes a Lighting Industry Academy Ambassador

The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) has announced that The Worshipful Company of Lightmongers has become a Lighting Industry Academy Ambassador (Academy).

It joins a number a number of industry players who have already become Ambassadors and support the vision of the Academy. The Academy adopts a collaborative approach, offering a central point of access for lighting related learning and assurance of a consistent quality.

The Worshipful Company of Lightmongers is respected throughout the lighting industry and has far reaching influence. For more than 60 years it has represented all sections of the lighting and electrical industry, including lamp and luminaire manufacturers, electrical contractors, electrical wholesalers, public lighting engineers, consulting engineers, lighting designers and architects. It has an excellent education award programme which complements the aims of the Academy.

Its commitment as an Academy Ambassador reinforces the vision and direction the Academy will take by helping the Academy reach its full potential, support its goals and promote education and skills across the lighting community.

The Academy with its Ambassadors support will bring skills and learning to the whole lighting community, creating opportunities and developing the lighting community for a bright and exciting future.
