Smart Tech Live is back!

Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural seminar, there will be two Smart Tech Live events in 2017. The first will be held in London at The Grand Connaught Rooms on Friday 9th June. The second will be held at The Principal York in York on Thursday 15th June.

Preparing TODAY for the industry TOMORROW

Held in association with the ECA, the goal of Smart Tech Live is to inform and educate aspirational electrotechnicians about smart, connected, and innovative technologies that will help give their business a competitive edge in an evolving industry. The seminar programme will identify the opportunities you can take TODAY to ensure your business is ready for TOMORROW.

Some of the industry’s most knowledgeable experts will be available throughout the day to explain how you can utilise smart solutions and differentiate your business. Some of the biggest manufacturers, associations, and educators will also be present to guide you through the business opportunities that you can take advantage of straight away.

The programme

The programme for both events will provide insight into the future role of smart solutions in the electrical industry. Drawing from feedback from last year’s event, and subsequent surveys of Voltimum’s users, we have tailored our programme around the wants and needs of electrical contractors. The presentations will cover both residential and commercial applications and will focus on key topics that offer relatable and realistic opportunities for contractors today.

Full programme details will be announced closer to the event but it will include interactive multiple discussions from the Smart Solution’s experts panel.  There will also be application-specific presentations from technical representatives from leading manufacturers like Legrand, ABB and Schneider Electric, as well as guidance from technical organisations like CEDIA.

There will also be refreshments and opportunities for networking throughout the day.

Pre-show CPD Accredited Seminars

New for this year, the event will open its doors at 8:00 am for a series of pre-show CPD accredited seminars from ABB, Schneider Electric, and Legrand.  These will run every half hour until 9:30 am, so you can catch them all if you want to!
