Record growth sees LEW Electrical Distributors relocate Lincoln branch

Continued growth and successes have seen LEW Electrical Distributors recently relocate its Lincoln branch to larger premises. The new unit, which remains located on the southern outskirts of Lincoln just off the A46, is only a minute drive from their previous location and is more than double its size.

Josh Johnson, Lincoln’s Branch Manager since 2014, says that ‘to keep up with advances in technology, we are constantly reviewing and adding new stock lines to increase our stock holding, helping LEW keep up with customer demands, but ultimately we outgrew our previous branch. The decision to move to bigger premises was inevitable and made due to our continued growth over the last three years.’

‘In addition to room for our larger stock holding, the new unit also allows us to store bulk stock and hold large project orders for customers.  This is a great example of how LEW can go the extra mile and help our customers deliver to their clients. With pallet and cable racking in place as well, we can also make our day to day procedures and processes more efficient.’

Managing Director, Andrew Johnson, says ‘the move will support the branch in continuing to develop our presence in Lincoln with additional stock profiles and improved customer service, which will ultimately result in a better overall experience for our customers.’

‘I would like to take this opportunity to thank Josh and his team at our Lincoln branch. It is a young team and this investment is a testament to all their hard work.’

LEW Electrical Distributors has recently celebrated its 25th year as an electrical wholesaler, having set up their first branch in Gainsborough in 1993. The company opened a further ten branches across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and also has ambitious growth plans for more branches and multiple digital ordering platforms to keep pace with the ever-changing electrical wholesale market over the years to come.
