November issue out now!

Welcome to the November issue of Electrical Wholesaler!

Energy management has been hot on the agenda of late, with consumers and businesses alike increasingly prioritising sustainability. In recent months, the Government launched both the Green Homes Grant and the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, meaning that R&D into electronics that can help improve energy efficiency in homes and buildings will be more important than ever. On pages 32-4 we take a look at the latest initiatives in energy management and the companies and products innovating to support them.

On a similar note, our November cover story comes from Timeguard’s Andy Douglas, who explains the importance of presence and motion detectors for lighting and energy-saving projects. Our feature on Electric Heating, meanwhile, sees Electrorad’s Jeni French explains the importance of efficient home heating systems if the UK is to reach zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Turn to page 18 for my interview with Pitacs’ Levent Aci and David Linger, which takes a closer look at TIME LED, the company’s lighting division and newest brand.

Also in this issue are features on mental health awareness and outdoor electronics from leading industry experts, as well as our preview of the LuxLive Digital Festival 2020, which is set to take place 11-12 November – you can take a look at the speaker line up and find out how to register online on page 36. Plus, of course, our usual news, views, product innovations and installations from market-leading businesses.

Happy reading!
