Manrose launches new digital channels

Manrose, a leading British ventilation manufacturer, has recently launched two new digital channels to make it even easier for customers to access product information they need, while keeping pace with the electrical sector’s trend for increased digitalisation.

The first is Manrose’s new website www.manrose.co.uk. Long known for its practical, reliable products that it has been  manufacturing for over 30 years, the new website brings a fresh, modern look to its brand while offering a site that is easy-to-use and navigate. The second digital channel is its brand new ‘My Manrose’ app which makes it simple for electricians, wholesalers and DIYers to access digital product information straight from their smart devices whether online or offline.

The electrical industry is increasingly accessing data via digital means and this trend is set to continue. In fact, in the Electrical Distributors Association (EDA) 2019/20 sector survey showed that the most important digital channel for contractors was manufacturer websites, making Manrose’s new website even more timely. If anything, 2020 has seen this trend accelerating due to the pandemic. With us all seeing people less face-to-face, digitalisation becomes increasingly valuable.

UK construction software company, Causeway, recently commissioned the report ‘Construction’s Digital Frontline: How an industry is stepping up to its transformation opportunity’. It reveals that 2020 has been a pivotal year for the uptake of digital solutions including within the supply chain where 65% have built stronger relations thanks to adopting digital technologies. According to the research, 81% of respondents said that they will be increasing efforts to improve their business digitally.

Filters on the Manrose website allow customers to select exactly the right product for the application, and can even select on features such as warranty length and energy use. A new search function makes finding the right product a breeze. The site is also packed with information on how to choose a fan, Building Regulations; how to site a fan correctly; problem solving and more. Product brochures can simply be downloaded and viewed and products are listed by category: bathroom fans, kitchen fans, whole house heat recovery systems, MEV, ducting, heating hygiene and accessories.

The My Manrose app showcases brochures and datasheets and allows users to view the documents in a list or a grid format, sort the documents by name, date and size, share the documents with others and create a list of frequently viewed documents using the bookmarks list. Wholesalers can show customers the My Manrose app instead of flicking through brochures trying to find the right product.

For further information on all products and services offered by Manrose telephone 01753 691399 or visit www.manrose.co.uk.
