IBMG expands electrical wholesale division with third new branch in three weeks

Independent Builders Merchant Group’s (IBMG) electrical division has announced the opening of its latest Grant & Stone electrical wholesaler, located on Tallon Road, Brentwood, Essex.
The 3,500 ft site will be the exclusive Site Supplies specialist in the Brentwood area, providing lighting and power distribution solutions for Site Temporary Installers. The new store is located close to two major transport routes into London, with easy access for the M25 and the A12.

The Brentwood branch increases the division’s geographic reach and forms part of a large expansion plan designed specifically to complete gaps in its branch network, with further branch openings planned in the coming weeks.

Branch manager, Tyrone Gannon, said: “Our aim is to make Grant & Stone Brentwood the best specialist electrical wholesaler in the region and our customers’ first choice. The team at Brentwood
have over 50 years’ combined electrical wholesale experience and have an in-depth understanding of the local area and its requirements. The Brentwood branch will also focus on giving back to the community by sponsoring local junior and senior sports teams, as well as getting involved with local charity organisations.”

Darren House, managing director of IBMG’s electrical division, added: “Grant & Stone Brentwood further strengthens our presence from Enfield through to Paignton. We have a team of four experienced specialists, led by a great local manager, Tyrone Gannon, who has in-depth knowledge of the local market, and a comprehensive understanding of our customers’ needs. The new site is the electrical division’s third new location in three weeks. As a group, we continue to remain fiercely independent in our approach, outlook and dealings with customers, which is the reason for our continued success.”

The opening of the Brentwood branch increases the network of IBMG’s specialist electrical wholesale branches to 24 across the South of England.
