Heat Mat is a customer service/sales focused business manufacturing and distributing electric underfloor heating and external ice and snow melting into the UK market. One of our main USPs is that we are a people/relationship driven business offering high levels of customer service and support to our distributors and their customers.

We are now recruiting for an Account Manager to nurture / support existing relationships, alongside a focus on building relationships with key strategic partners across a wide audience spectrum of electrical wholesalers, tile retailers, architects and specifiers. We are looking for a sales and relationship professional that is looking for a new challenge and is ready to develop their career in a business that will make the most of their talents and help them develop their strengths.

The role is to increase sales and market share by building excellent relationships with existing and new key partners. Electrical Wholesale/Electrical Contracting external sales background an advantage but not a necessity. They must have the ability to grow business and cement relationships with existing customers, as well as developing new customer trading relationships. We will also consider a candidate from outside of this market if relevant experience and skills can be demonstrated.

The qualities we are looking for in our successful recruit is that they must be driven, target orientated and no stranger to hard work with stretching but achievable targets. They will need to prioritise their own workload whilst also being able to work with our inhouse sales team. We will also look to the successful candidate to monitor and report on sector developments and competitor activities.

A full driving licence is essential and some experience of dealing with major construction and housebuilding companies would also be advantageous.

The role will suit someone living within easy access to the motorway network. The territory covers London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
