EW Awards – winners revealed!

The winners of the Electrical Wholesaler Awards 2022 were revealed on the 13 October at a gala luncheon and ceremony at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel.

Organised by Datateam Business Media, publisher of leading industry publication Electrical Wholesaler magazine, The EW Awards have been championing innovation, excellence and achievement across the electrical industry for over 10 years. This was once again made clear at this year’s Awards ceremony, where key industry figures gathered to celebrate the winners and enjoy a drinks reception, three course lunch, comedy and awards ceremony.

The awards kicked off with The Best Accessory Brand of the Year which was won by Selectric. This was followed by The Best Wholesaler of the Year Award, which went to Amble Electric.

Next, we moved on to The Best Heating Brand of the Year which was taken home by Heat Mat Limited and the award for The Best Lighting Brand of the Year was won by Ansell Lighting.

This year’s Best Wholesaler of the Year (6-25 branches) was won by Lew Electrical; meanwhile Di-Log won The Best Safety/ Security Brand of the Year for their CombiVolt Safe Isolation Range and LOTO Kits.

Moving on, we had The Best Wholesaler of the Year (26+ branches) and that was won by CEF and Kew electrical well-deservedly won the trophy for The Best Training Provider. The brilliant Wiska UK Ltd won The Best New Product of the Year Award. Kew Electricals (Brighton) won the prize for The Best Individual Branch of the Year.

The trophies continued to flow at The 2022 EW Awards with the Best Wholesaler website of the Year trophy being taken home by Alert Electrical. Following this, The Best Customer Service: Brand accolade went to Aico and The Best Customer Service: Wholesaler Award went to Kew Electrical.

The award for The Best Overall Brand went to Marshall-Tufflex and The Industry Initiative Award was won by Trimble Luckins and NG15 Limited.

Finally, the EW Awards prides itself on shining a light on the bright and brilliant individuals that make up our industry. This year’s prestigious Industry Icon Award went to none other than The Head of Marketing Communications at the EDA, Anne Vessey!
