Crompton Lamps announce Kitching as new MD

Crompton Lamps, the UK lamps and LED specialist, has appointed Adrian Kitching (pictured) as Managing Director. Kitching has been in senior roles in the electrical industry, most recently with Megaman, for more than 28 years. He has a strong technical background and is enthusiastic about the development of lighting technology.

He says: “It’s important in this day and age to be able trust the products you supply to your contractors, and that they hold the highest performance and quality standards. The new products in the pipeline at Crompton Lamps Ltd, as well as those just about to be launched, make the opportunity to lead one of the oldest lamp businesses in the world very exciting indeed.”

Outgoing MD David Gwyer remains with Crompton Lamps in the short term to ensure a smooth handover.
