CP is one of just 14 companies from across the whole of the UK shortlisted for the 2015 Best Factory Awards, organised by Works Management magazine. It is the only London-based company and the only specialist lighting controls manufacturer to have made the shortlist this year.

CP will also have the chance to win other awards including the Electronics and Electrical Plant Award, Best SME (small to medium enterprise) and the Judges’ Special Award.

The shortlisting follows a highly rigorous assessment process which saw CP complete a stringent self-audit prior to a visit by independent judges from the Cranfield School of Management.

The overall winner of Factory of the Year and the individual category winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday 25th September at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London.

At its dedicated facility in West London, CP designs and produces energy saving controls which are then exported worldwide as well as being widely specified in the UK market.

CP Electronics’ Chief Executive Officer, Marcus Martin, explained: “The Factory of the Year Award is unquestionably the top award to win for any manufacturing business, independently recognising best practice in all areas of manufacturing management and practice, from safety to energy efficiency.

“To have made this year’s shortlist is a major coup for us and a recognition of the ongoing commitment to excellence in all areas of our operations.

“As the only specialist lighting controls manufacturer among the final 14, it represents a further guarantee to customers and specifiers of the quality of our products and drive to exceed customer expectation as every stage of the process.”
