B.E.G. recruits KNX specialist

Lighting controls manufacturer B.E.G. has expanded its UK sales team with the appointment of Stephen Payne as Systems Sales Manager.

He previously spent 13 years at Timeguard, a Theben Group Company, as its KNX Sales Manager and has also worked at ABB Controls, Klockner Moeller and MEM.

He said: “The transition from incandescent to low energy (CFL) and now to LED provides one of the biggest opportunities and challenges in the building controls market today.

“I have been involved with KNX for more than 10 years in the UK and it has been fantastic to see how KNX has grown into the force it has become in recent years.

“My aim is to increase the market share of B.E.G. in the KNX and DALI systems market and to make their products the number one choice for detectors.”
