A tall order for Marco at Woburn Safari Park!

Marco has taken a walk on the wild side with its latest project specification, supplying products as part of a refurbishment at the giraffe enclosure at Woburn Safari Park.

Definitely different! The giraffe sleeping quarters at Woburn Safari Park provided one of the most unusual locations for Marco’s cable management products range.

The giraffe sleeping quarters at Woburn, part of Giraffe Junction, are enjoying an overhaul and a new electrical installation has formed part of the plans, with Marco’s steel wire cable tray used throughout.

Jeff Kerridge, Sales Manager at Marco Cable Management, commented: “We see our products used in a diverse range of schemes and projects but this undoubtedly is one of the most different we’ve seen to date!

“I’m pleased to say the project is complete and the giraffes are happily settled into their upgraded enclosure complete with Marco products.”

Jeff added: “This latest installation undoubtedly demonstrates the versatility of the Marco range, showcasing the functional and practical nature, in this case of our steel wire cable tray.”

Woburn Safari Park is home to a large breeding herd of Rothschild giraffe which can be seen at Giraffe Junction. The herd is given the freedom to roam in their seven acre exhibit, which they share with the Grevy’s Zebra and a herd of Scimitar Horned Oryx.

They are housed at night in Giraffe Junction, however, during the warm summer months the giraffe herd are able stay out in their large enclosure 24 hours a day.
