YESSS Electrical, which agreed a distribution deal with Nest Labs for the rights to supply the new Nest Protect smoke and carbon monoxide alarm and the recently announced 3rd generation Nest Learning Thermostat and Nest Cam, has invested significantly in training for its staff to and is now able to offer free training direct to installers.

After undertaking Nest Pro training, 15 of YESSS Electrical’s 90 branches are now able to offer full training to installers on the Nest Learning Thermostat, Nest Protect: Smoke + Carbon Monoxide and Nest CAM products.  The training, delivered to YESSS Electrical team members by Lance Escobar, EU Pro Trainer at Nest labs Europe, will allow installers to become Nest Pro accredited.

Installers will receive an overview of the features and benefits as well as technical guidance on how the products work and how to properly install them. In addition, each of the company’s branches boasts a Nest Pro Champion– able to assess existing heating and smoke alarm systems and make suggestions for new installations.

All of the Nest products are available across YESSS Electrical’s branch network and online via its website www.yesss.co.uk.

Andy Singleton, director at YESSS Electrical, commented: “We believe energy saving technologies represent a real revenue opportunity for installers. Nest’s products are well-designed and can deliver real, tangible benefits.  However, as with all new technology, the products must be installed correctly, so we’ve invested in training to ensure installers can capitalise on the opportunities the products offer and deliver a great service to their customers.”

Normanton-based YESSS Electrical, established in 2012, recently opened its 90th branch. Employing 850 staff nationwide, YESSS has plans to expand throughout 2016 to achieve a network of 150 UK branches.
