Timeguard and Stearn Electric achieve the 3-Peaks Challenge 2017

A team of ten climbers (plus two support crew) took part in the Timeguard 3-Peaks Challenge on June 22 and 23 which involved climbing the three highest mountains in Wales (Snowdon), England (Scafell Pike) and Scotland (Ben Nevis) to raise funds for the Electrical Industries Charity.

The seven climbers from Stearn Electric, two from Timeguard and one from Doyle and Tratt Products set off to climb Snowdon at 12:25pm on June 22, brilliantly supported by two support crew from Timeguard.

Timeguard’s Managing Direcor, Andy Douglas, said: “For sure, we knew it would be tough but the determination and teamwork from the very start was amazing and the camaraderie achieved was outstanding; it pushed you to keep going, even in the most challenging conditions including the night climb up Scafell Pike.”

Four of the team (all from Stearn) achieved the challenge in under 24 hours with five more climbers achieving the feat in under 25 hours. To date, the team has raised more than £2,200 for the Electrical Industries Charity.
