Entry is now open for the 2018 Electrical Wholesaler Awards and there has already been an incredible response from the industry to this year’s new, streamlined, online entry process…

The EW Awards recognise and reward wholesalers and manufacturers – and the people they employ – for outstanding innovation, incredible service and exceptional commitment to the electrical wholesaling industry (see website for categories).

In 2018, the Awards will go full circle and return to the venue where it all began. The next intake of EW Awards’ alumni will be revealed at London’s Tower Hotel on Thursday, May 10.

How it works?

With time in limited supply – particularly at this time of year – organiser Datateam Business Media Ltd (which published Electrical Wholesaler) has introduced a streamlined entry process, making it even easier for companies and individuals to put themselves in the running for an award.

Those that wish to enter or make a nomination simply need to visit the EW Awards website at www.electricalwholesalerawards.co.uk where the fuss-free online entry forms can be found. Manufacturers and wholesalers will be able to enter as many categories as they like by submitting just one form.

Entries close on 15 January, 2018

Once the deadline has passed, entries in the wholesaler categories will be decided by a two-part system. A judging panel of respected industry figures will review the entries in accordance with the relevant criteria and submit their scores which will hold a 50/50 weight along with the results produced by an online customer vote. The two combined scores will produce a shortlist of five finalists and one winner in each category.

However, in the manufacturing categories the full power lies in the hands of the electrical wholesale industry. Subject to meeting the necessary criteria, manufacturer entries will face a public vote which will produce five finalists and ultimately a winner for each category.
