Schneider Electric’s annual golf day supports the Electrical Industries Charity

Schneider Electric, a leader in energy management and efficiency, is supporting the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) at its 34th annual golf tournament.

Open to electrical consultants, panel builders, end users, developers, builders and distributors, the tournament has become a summer highlight. Eleven regional events have taken place throughout the UK and Ireland during the summer. The tournament will culminate in the national final at Hawkstone Park on the 19th and 20th September 2018.

The EIC provides practical support services and financial relief for those in the electrical, electronic and energy industries.

Stewart Gregory, VP of Partner Projects at Schneider Electric said: “The annual golf tournament is always a popular event, and it is great to be in a position to help those in the electrical industry through the fantastic works of the EIC. We look forward to the final event in September and to crowning our winner for 2018!”

Tessa Ogle, CEO of the EIC said: “We are honored to be a part of such a popular event, and are thankful to everyone who gets involved at the golf days to support us. EIC is a national charity and our on-going mission is to support our industry through challenging times. We do this by providing a direct line of financial relief and practical support services to individuals facing unexpected life challenges. We look forward to seeing the action in the final round this September.”
