Improved zoom capability on new ESP PTZ camera

ESP continues to develop its HDView CCTV range to bring products with enhanced performance to market and the latest addition is a new 720P high definition Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) camera with improved x18 optical zoom capability and a more stylish design.

PTZ cameras have a motorised mechanism for remote control of the camera’s lens, allowing large areas to be covered with one camera. This mechanism offers a full pan, tilt and zoom operation, whilst enabling a 360 degree rotation function and zoom lens for exceptional image quality, making these cameras ideal for commercial applications where detailed surveillance is required.

The new HDVC18PTZ camera features a 1.3 Megapixel AHD sensor and a 4.7-84.6mm varifocal lens, which is adjustable to suit wide angle views or close up visual identification. Designed for external use, it has an IP66 rated housing to protect it from dust and rain and offers up to 50m IR night illumination. It can be controlled by ESP’s PTZ controller, by DVR or by App and comes with 2 amp power supply.

Easy and secure installation is central to the products’ design and several mounting options are available, allowing an installer to adapt to the end user’s specific site requirements.
