iLECSYS – expanding to meet demand, with a new factory in Princes Risborough

Hertfordshire business, the iLECSYS Group, is relocating to a new purpose built factory in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, having outgrown its current premises in Tring where it has been located for the past 15 years.

The iLECSYS Group is a multi-disciplined company working across multiple electrical and engineering market sectors. Its main business includes distribution of electrical enclosures and components, rail, hazardous area, in-house engineering and sheet metal fabrication.

The Tring site compromises of the head office, sub-contract machining, electrical assembly for rail, bridge and platform fabrication and electrical component distribution, this as well as the sheet metal fabrication facility currently located in Aston Clinton, will relocate to the company’s new factory in March. The company will retain its distribution branches in Chessington, Surrey and Stockport, Great Manchester.

Managing Director, Grace Tipson said that after 20 years of consecutive growth she felt this was the right time to expand the company’s capabilities and production facilities.

“Our new premises in Princes Risborough will provide us with state-of-the-art facilities enabling us to extend our services in manufacturing and production.

“The new 40,000sq ft factory will allow us the opportunity to bring employees from Tring and Aston Clinton together, as well as recruit new staff.

“The site is perfectly positioned in Kites Park, a business park environment located within easy reach of the M40 and local train station. With continuing growth in all areas of our business, the increase in space will enable us to keep up with the upsurge in industry demands.”
