Hamilton appoints Commercial and Operations Directors

As part of Hamilton Litestat’s plan to expand its business within the UK, the company has appointed Paul Walker as Commercial Director and Paul McCourt as Operations Director.

Paul Walker has been appointed as Commercial Director to continue the company’s growth in established areas and spearhead Hamilton’s drive into new product sectors.

Paul has 30 years’ experience in the industry and joined Hamilton in 2014 following roles at Havells, where he successfully established its Switchgear offering and grew its business in the trade division, and 14 successful years at Electrium, a Siemens company.

Paul McCourt becomes Operations Director, responsible for all aspects of business operations, including infrastructure, technology, process design, organisational development and HR directives. Paul has been tasked with an extensive change management programme over the next 12 months to provide a robust and comprehensive foundation to support Hamilton’s growth plans for the next five years.

Prior to Hamilton, Paul was an independent senior BPM consultant, advising international companies on operational systems and process designs. He also established and ran his own software design company that built workflow system solutions for end users.

He will be driving the brand in 2017 as a ‘one-stop shop’ for turnkey electrical wiring accessories in the domestic market. He will be supported by Paul McCourt’s extensive operational experience, which will establish the foundations for this growth.”
