Electrorad introduces revolutionary smart panel heaters

Electrorad has launched Smartpanel – an innovative range that bears all the looks of conventional radiators but at panel heater prices.

Smartpanel is one of the first panel heaters to be fully compliant with EcoDesign Lot 20 – the impending legislation which dictates that all local space heaters must feature both intelligent timers and controls to comply with minimum efficiency standards.

This sleek, modern range offers the ideal solution for house builders, developers, and specifiers wanting a low-cost, energy efficient heating solution.

As well as Virtual Open Window Sensors, the heaters also incorporate Adaptive Start Control that learns when to switch the heaters on in order to achieve optimum household comfort and reduce energy consumption. All models also incorporate integral energy monitors.

The Smartpanel range meets the needs of various room sizes and is available in five heat outputs – from 600w to 2kw – and each boast top-placed digital programmable controls offering 24/7 programming (nine pre-programs and four custom), together with comfort, economy and frost protection modes, and a
Reduced Surface Temperature option.

All models feature Triac thermostats for greater accuracy of room temperature control, and silent operation when switching on and off.

Smartpanel features a compact steel housing box, a high-performance aluminium heating element, and simple to use controls.
