Answer the door from anywhere with ESP’s new Wi-Fi Door Station

Security products manufacturer, ESP, has expanded its Aperta range of access control solutions with a new Wi-Fi Door Station. Aimed at the domestic market, it allows you to view and talk to visitors at your home whether you are on the premises or on the other side of the world. From a smart phone or tablet and using the free ESP app, you can easily see who is at the door or gate, engage in two-way communication and allow remote access if desired.

The WiFi Door Station comes in a kit which includes the Wi-Fi door station, power supply, 10DB Wi-Fi antenna, micro SD card (pre-installed) and LAN terminal.

Requiring Wi-Fi or 4G, it is recommended that the door station is programmed before installation. The installer must ensure that the user’s smart phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network, the Door Station is within the network’s Wi-Fi range and that the key/password is available. Once the sunshield of the door station has been surface mounted and the system cabling connected, the camera can then be mounted to the sunshield using the hex screw supplied. The robust metal housing and IP rating makes it weatherproof and suitable for many external applications.
