Scruffs is at it again! The laddish safety footwear and workwear brand, managed by Birchwood Price Tools, will be seen and heard in the new MAN TIPS campaign.
Catching 10 million consumers during their typical working day between January and March 2010 MAN TIPS will hit tradesmen:
• Driving the van, listening to cheeky radio ads on TalkSPORT
• In the pub having a pint, with flirty beer mats in national pub chains
• Browsing the web at scruffs.com, on Facebook and on Twitter
• In dealers’ stores with cash to spend.
The integrated campaign is designed to connect with tradesmen, talking their language and making them laugh.
Pushing the laddish attitude through new media channels Scruffs is being developed as a brand that tradesmen relate to and aspire to wear.
Prior to the ad campaign launch there’s an initial push to get dealers stocked up with product and in-store POS materials.
Four brand new Scruffs point-of-sale packages have been created that catch the eye and increase sales opportunities, including a Mini Pallet Display, Footwear Stand, Dump Bucket and Banner. The POS is free when dealers buy special stock packages.
With new feature-packed products that sell, striking in-store support materials that create impact and high profile national advertising that boosts footfall, the MAN TIPS campaign is set to generate a major sales uplift for Scruffs dealers.
