Lewden provides protection

Lewden Electrical Industries became festive at the Under the Stars music and dance festival in East Ham, with the highly visible and easy fitting Cable Protection Range. The Cable Protectors were supplied by T.E.S.T Electrical based in Haverhill, Suffolk along with Lewden’s ADA disability ramps, quick installation plugs, connectors and sockets for the power distribution boards that were used throughout the event over the weekend.

The Cable Protectors and the power distribution plugs, connectors and sockets provided safety and electricity to approximately 50,000 visitors who attended the Mayor of Newham’s Show in East Ham’s Central Park. Live music and dance acts, daring stunts, stalls, bus tours, tea dancing, sport and fashion and a spectacular children’s carnival were just some of the free attractions taking place.

Cable and hose protection systems from Lewden were used to protect site power and distributions, ensuring that any leads rooted through to the main stage were protected and did not create a trip hazard to the performers and the large number of visitors who attended the event. Suitable for foot, heavy vehicle traffic and ideal for push chairs and wheelchairs, the Cable Protection range is made of a hard polyurethane construction material and is extremely robust and weather-proof.

Wire covers or also called as cable protectors can really be used on those big events and festival because we all know that when it comes on those events whether it is big or small, a lot of cables and wires will be used, one of the best example is the sound system that is being used will an event is going on.Protecting such a lot of cables will ensure the safety.
