Manufactured from thermosetting material, the TAIS TRE distribution system from Lewden Electrical Industries has been designed and built to withstand temperatures ranging from -30 degrees C to +70 degrees C. The special resin in the thermosetting material is flame retardant, halogen free, low smoke and fume and, in the case of an internal short circuit, there is no flame propagation outside the board. It is extremely sturdy and with an IP66 rating, will remain weatherproof and humidity resistant even under the most arduous conditions. 

Lewden’s TAIS TRE distribution system has been designed for ease of installation as minimal tools are needed and the reversible doors hook straight onto brackets. For maximum versatility, the DIN rails are adjustable and allow the user to fit 45mm and 75mm modular devices, which requires only a simple adjustment of the central screw on the DIN bearing structure. The components click onto the rails which fix inside the board with a quarter turn of a screw. Access to the board is protected by two safety locks. The gasket in non-ageing elastomer which guarantees the IP66 protection rating.
