They sell a product called Silverline…..then when you try and contact silverline no phone number given….but through some detective work on 192.com you find a tool company called Toolstream on the same Industrial estate. Hey presto its them……then you hear oh the parcel you sent a month ago as a return has not been received even though you sent expensive post to have it signed for. So off to parcel post they tell you who signed for it. Oh says Toolstream/silverline…a temporary staff signed for it and put it in an obscure place….”OH WE FOUND IT NOW”. “OH IT WAS DAMAGED” AND THEY SEND A PIC WHICH HAPPENS NOT TO BE THE PUMP YOU SENT BACK BUT A DAMAGED ONE…(MINE WAS IN A PUMPHOUSE AND OUTSIDE PERFECT AND I PACK A PARCEL AS IF IT WAS GOING TO THE MOON. WITH A MULTI USED PICTURE. STILL BATTLING TO GET THEM TO HONOUR THERE GUARANTEE. LONG WAY FROM ME BUT I HAVE RELATIVES IN SOMERSET I WILL VISIT TOOLSTREAM NEXT WEEK.
YES THIS AWFUL BUSINESS ( TOOLSTREAM ) IS THE SAME AS SILVERLINE TOOLS IN YEOVIL. LOOK, WE ALL KNOW WHAT THEY DO, THEY BRING IN JUNK FROM CHINA AND SELL AND MARKET IT AS THOUGH THEY MADE IT IN THE UK. THE QUALITY IS A DISGRACE AND MUCH OF IT IS ILLEGAL COPIES OF GREAT UK DESIGNS. THEY SEND ITEMS TO CHINA AND TELL THEM TO COPY IT !! THE GODDARD WATTS FAMILY HAVE MANY FINGERS IN MANY PIES, SCREWFIX, TOOLSTATION, WILDBIRD INTERNATIONAL ETC ETC ETC OTHER FIRMS SUCH AS SEALEY AND CLARKE DO THE SAME ILLEGAL TRICKS. THEY ARE ALL VERY SAD PEOPLE AND THINK NOTHING OF THE DAMAGE THEY DO TO THE UK. I JUST HOPE THE UK PUBLIC ONE DAY WILL STOP BUYING THIS JUNK.
